How to maintain the air compressor
How to maintain the air compressor should be relatively easy for the air compressor technicians, but whether your maintenance is professional, do you have your own set of plans? Today, we summarize the daily maintenance work of our technicians into six The major points are explained as follows.
First, the regular maintenance and maintenance of the main components:
In order to ensure the normal and reliable operation of the air compressor and ensure the service life of the unit, it is necessary to formulate a detailed maintenance plan, carry out designated operations, regular maintenance, and regular inspection and maintenance to keep the air compressor unit clean, oil-free and dirt-free. Refer to the following table for maintenance of main components: (Note):
A. When repairing and replacing each part according to the above table, it must be confirmed: the pressure in the air compressor system has been released, it has been isolated from other pressure sources, the switch on the main circuit has been disconnected, and the safety signs that are not allowed to close have been prepared. .
b. The replacement time of compressor cooling oil depends on the use environment, humidity, air compressor dust and whether there is acid or alkaline gas in the air. The newly purchased air compressor must be replaced with new oil after the first 500 hours of operation, and then every 4,000 hours according to the normal oil change cycle.
c. The oil filter must be replaced in the first 300-500 hours of operation, the second in 2000 hours of use, and every 2000 hours in the normal time thereafter.
D. When repairing and replacing the air filter or intake valve, remember to prevent any debris from falling into the compressor main body cavity. When operating, close the entrance of the main unit. After the operation is completed, you need to rotate the main unit several times in the direction of rotation by hand to make sure that there is no obstruction before it can be turned on.
E. The tightness of the belt must be checked every 2000 hours of operation of the machine. If the belt is loose, it must be adjusted until the belt is tensioned; in order to protect the belt, it is necessary to prevent the belt from being scrapped due to oil pollution during the whole process.
F. Every time the oil is changed, the oil filter must be changed at the same time.
g. Please use the original parts of the company, otherwise the company will not be responsible for any accident caused by the machine.
Second, clean the cooler:
Every 2000 hours of operation of the air compressor, in order to remove the dust on the heat dissipation surface, the cooler purge hole cover on the fan bracket should be opened, and the cooler should be purged with a dust blowing air gun until the heat dissipation surface is cleaned of dust. If the heat dissipation surface is seriously dirty and difficult to clean, remove the cooler, pour out the oil in the cooler and seal the four inlets and outlets to prevent the entry of dirt, and then blow off the dust on both sides with compressed air or use water. Rinse, and finally blow dry any water spots on the surface. Put it back in place. Remember! Do not scrape the dirt with hard objects such as iron brushes, so as not to damage the surface of the radiator.
Third, discharge condensation:
Moisture in the air may condense in the oil and gas separation tank, especially in humid weather, when the exhaust temperature is lower than the pressure dew point of the air or when the machine is shut down for cooling, more condensate will be precipitated. Too much water in the oil will cause the emulsification of the lubricating oil and affect the safe operation of the machine, such as:
1. The main engine of the compressor is poorly lubricated; ---The effect of oil and gas separation becomes worse, and the pressure difference of the oil and gas separator becomes larger;
2. Causes corrosion of parts. Therefore, a condensate discharge schedule should be developed based on humidity conditions. Condensate discharge method: It should be carried out after the machine is shut down, there is no pressure in the oil and gas separation tank, sufficient cooling, and sufficient precipitation of the condensate, such as before starting the machine in the morning.
① Unscrew the front screw plug of the ball valve at the bottom of the oil and gas separation tank.
②Slowly open the ball valve to drain until oil flows out, then close the ball valve.
③ Screw on the front plug of the ball valve.
Fourth, safety valve:
The safety valve has been adjusted before the whole machine leaves the factory. We do not recommend users to adjust the safety valve without permission. If it is necessary to adjust, it should be carried out under the guidance of the local labor safety department or the company's maintenance personnel, otherwise the company will not be responsible for all the consequences arising therefrom.
Fifth, maintenance work suggestions:
For general users, some compressor maintenance suggestions are provided, which users can refer to and implement.
1. Weekly: a. Check the unit for abnormal noise and leakage; b. Check whether the meter reading is correct; c. Check whether the temperature display is normal.
2. Monthly: a. Check whether there is rust or looseness in the machine. If there is rust, remove the rust and apply oil or paint, and tighten the looseness; b. Drain the condensed water.
3. Every three months: a. Remove the dust on the outer surface of the cooler and the fan cover and fan blades; b. Add lubricating oil to the motor bearing; c. Check whether the hose is aging or cracked; d. Check Electrical components, clean the electrical control box.
Sixth, compressor oil:
In the running state, the oil level of the compressor should be kept between the minimum and maximum oil levels. Too much oil will affect the separation effect, and too little oil will affect the lubrication and cooling performance of the machine. During the oil change cycle, if the oil level is lower than the minimum oil level oil level, the lubricating oil should be replenished in time by:
① When the internal pressure is released after shutdown (confirm that there is no pressure in the system), pull down the main power switch.
②Open the oil filling port on the oil and gas separation tank and add an appropriate amount of cooling lubricating oil.
③ Refer to the regular maintenance table for the oil change time after the normal operation of the air compressor.
